New, fully loaded Stage 2 cylinder head for the Caterpillar 3406B (square exhaust port, direct injection), built to replace CAT 7W2203 (7W-2203) and 7W0006. Stage 2 adds Inconel exhaust valves for better heat resistance on hard-working trucks and equipment. It arrives assembled and ready to bolt on, with no core to send back.

Fits Caterpillar 3406B direct-injection engines with the square-port head. It does not interchange with the round-port 3406C — see our 3406C head. Prechamber (PC) engines and prechamber adapters are not covered by this listing. We confirm fitment by engine serial number (ESN) or casting number before every head ships.

What else do I need to install it?

How do I confirm it fits my 3406B?
Send us your engine serial number (ESN) or the casting number from your old head. We verify fitment against 7W2203 before the head ships.
Will this fit a 3406C?
No. The 3406B uses a square exhaust port head; the 3406C uses a round port head. They do not interchange. Check your exhaust port shape or send us your serial number.
How long does delivery take?
