1105100 (110-5100) Caterpillar 3406C Loaded Cylinder Head – New, Stage 2 Inconel Exhaust

New, fully loaded Stage 2 cylinder head for the Caterpillar 3406C (round exhaust port), built to replace CAT 110-5100 (1105100). Stage 2 adds Inconel exhaust valves for better heat resistance. It arrives assembled and ready to bolt on, with no core to send back.

Fits Caterpillar 3406C engines with the round-port head, including serial prefixes 4MG, 7FB and 8PN. It does not interchange with the square-port 3406B — see our 3406B head. We confirm fitment by engine serial number (ESN) or casting number before every head ships.

• Freight: ships crated by LTL freight. Freight is free to a commercial address with a forklift or dock. Residential, liftgate and terminal delivery can be quoted — call before you order.

Is this head new or remanufactured?

New. It is a new casting assembled with new valvetrain components — not a rebuilt core.

Do I have to send back a core?

No. There is no core charge and nothing to return.

What else do I need to install it?

Plan on a new head gasket set and head bolts for the 3406C. They are not included. Message us and we will match the right kit to your engine serial number.

How do I confirm it fits my 3406C?

Send us your engine serial number (ESN) or the casting number from your old head. We verify fitment against 110-5100 before the head ships.

Will this fit a 3406B?

No. The 3406C uses a round exhaust port head; the 3406B uses a square port head. They do not interchange.

How long does delivery take?

Heads are crated and handed to the LTL carrier in 1–2 business days. Transit is typically 2–5 business days depending on your location.
