What Is a Core Charge?
A core charge is a refundable deposit applied to certain diesel engine parts. It ensures the return of your old part so it can be professionally rebuilt and reused.
How the Core Return Process Works
- Purchase the new or remanufactured part (core charge included)
- Install the new part
- Return your old core within **30 days of delivery**
- We inspect the returned core
- A core credit or refund is issued once approved
Core Return Requirements
To be eligible for credit, the core must be:
- Complete and rebuildable
- Free of major cracks or catastrophic damage
- Returned in proper packaging
Cores that do not meet these conditions may be subject to partial or no credit.
Core Credit Timeline
Once your core is received, inspection typically takes 5–7 business days.
Approved credits are issued promptly after inspection.
