New, fully loaded Stage 2 cylinder head for the Cummins ISX dual overhead cam (DOHC), built to replace Cummins 4101420 and 5658283. Stage 2 adds Inconel exhaust valves. It arrives assembled and ready to bolt on, with no core to send back.

Is this head new or remanufactured?

New. It is a new casting assembled with new valvetrain components — not a rebuilt core.

Do I have to send back a core?

No. There is no core charge and nothing to return.

What else do I need to install it?

Plan on a new head gasket set and head bolts for the ISX. They are not included. Message us and we will match the right kit to your engine serial number.

How do I confirm it fits my ISX?

Send us your engine serial number (ESN) or the casting number from your old head. We verify fitment against 4101420 before the head ships.

Will a dual cam head fit a single cam X15?

No. Dual cam (DOHC) and single cam (SOHC) heads are different castings. Dual cam is the pre-2010 ISX; check your ESN if you are not sure.

How long does delivery take?

Heads are crated and handed to the LTL carrier in 1–2 business days. Transit is typically 2–5 business days depending on your location.
