Warranty

We stand behind every part we sell. Most products on JAK's Diesel are manufactured by PAI Industries, an aftermarket heavy-duty parts maker with a long track record in the industry, and they carry PAI's standard warranty plus our own commitment to make it right.

Standard Warranty Coverage

Unless stated otherwise on the product page, parts sold by JAK's Diesel are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months from the date of installation or 200,000 miles, whichever comes first, when used in the application they were designed for.

What's covered:

  • Defects in manufacturing
  • Premature failure under normal operating conditions
  • Parts that arrive damaged or non-conforming to spec

What's not covered:

  • Damage from improper installation, over-torquing, or use of incorrect tools
  • Damage from contaminated fluids, lack of lubrication, or running outside spec (over-fueling, runaway boost, etc.)
  • Parts installed in an engine other than the one they were sold for (ESN must match)
  • Wear-and-tear consumables (gaskets, seals, O-rings) once installed
  • Labor, downtime, towing, or any consequential damages
  • Parts modified after purchase

Engine Serial Number (ESN) Matters

Heavy-duty diesel parts are not always interchangeable across an engine family. A part that fits a 2007 ISX may not fit a 2010 ISX. Before you order, confirm your ESN against the fitment notes on the product page. If you're not sure, email us at jaksdiesel@gmail.com with your ESN and we'll verify before you commit.

Parts ordered for the wrong ESN are returnable only if uninstalled, in original packaging, and within 30 days. Restocking fees may apply.

How to File a Warranty Claim

  1. Email jaksdiesel@gmail.com within the warranty period
  2. Include: order number, the part's ESN, photos of the failed part, and a brief description of the failure mode and the operating conditions when it failed
  3. We will work with PAI to evaluate the claim — typical turnaround is 7–14 business days
  4. Approved claims are resolved by replacement part or refund, at PAI's discretion

Keep the failed part. We may need it shipped back for inspection (we'll cover the freight on approved claims).

Returns on Uninstalled Parts

Uninstalled parts in original, unopened packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund, less a 15% restocking fee and return shipping. Once a part has been installed — even briefly — it cannot be returned.
